Abstract:

This paper examines contraceptive discontinuation, reason for discontinuation, method switching, and contraceptive failure in Zimbabwe. Five-year retrospective contraceptive histories collected in the monthly calendar of events in the 1994 Zimbabwe Demographic and Health Survey (ZDHS) are used for the analysis.
