Abstract:
The article presents a study which examines the family planning and fertility differentials among caste groups by demographic and socio-economic characteristics of women in Rajasthan, India. The study uses data from the National Family Health Survey (NFHS)-3 conducted in the country from 2005 to 2006. The study concludes that fertility is high while fertility differentials is existing in caste groups in the country.
