Abstract:

This report highlights important trends in key population, family planning, and health indicators in Indonesia over the past two decades. It was prepared with the primary objective of providing information needing by policymakers and program administrators to assess the current situation and to design more effective population, family planning, and maternal and child health programs. In particular, the report addresses the prevailing demographic situation and describes trends in fertility, family planning, maternal and child health, and infant and child mortality.
